Portraits are a guide to the soul.
*Please note that new portraits will be done in color as these portraits were done in film.
It all started in the mid 1960’s. I was given a 35mm camera and my love for photography began. I took pictures of anything and everything. During high school I ran the school darkroom, under the direction of our high school science teacher (Arthur Hood), in the rear of our science classroom. In my senior year I applied and was accepted to Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, but I didn’t have the finances to go. I gleaned, pestered and learned everything I could from a local photographer.
I enrolled in Alfred State Tech. and received my degree in electrical technology. My love for photography never left. And as they say, Life got in the way.
Then in 1980 I got married and attended New York Institute of Photography. I opened up a photography studio in Jamestown, N.Y. and was doing 20+ weddings per year. I was doing senior portraits. And life got in the way again. My love for photography never left me.
When I retired, my wife talked me into getting back into photography. I still have all my studio equipmentl
